With Kaddye you can send documents for digital signing with MitID and MitID Erhverv. The signature is an advanced electronic signature (AES) under eIDAS - legally binding across the EU, cryptographically sealed, and documented with a full audit trail.
How it works
- Upload your PDF and add signers - name and email are enough.
- Signers receive an email and confirm their identity with MitID or MitID Erhverv.
- The document is sealed with a certificate from a trust service provider on the EU’s official Trusted Lists using the PAdES standard, and all parties receive the finished document.
- The audit trail documents every step: created, sent, signed, completed.

Why sign with MitID?

Is a signature made with MitID legally binding?
Yes. When you sign with MitID via Kaddye, an advanced electronic signature (AES) is created under the eIDAS regulation. It is legally binding and can be used as evidence in courts across all 27 EU member states.
Can companies sign with MitID Erhverv?
Yes. Kaddye supports both MitID (private individuals) and MitID Erhverv (employees signing on behalf of a company).
What does it cost to get a document signed?
You can pay per case file from 30 kr. with no subscription, or choose Pro at 130 kr./month with unlimited case files. Every signing method, including MitID, is included on both plans. Prices in DKK, exclusive of VAT.
Where are my documents stored?
All documents and metadata are stored exclusively in Amsterdam and Frankfurt under EU jurisdiction, in line with GDPR.
How long is the signature valid?
Documents signed with MitID are sealed with a qualified certificate from a trust service provider on the EU Trusted Lists using the PAdES standard, with PAdES-LTA archive timestamps. The seal can therefore be verified for many years, even after the certificates expire, including via the EU's official signature validator.
